For over a decade, A Family Member HomeCare has been helping families with elder care in Florida. Our clients have come to the point in their lives’ where routine activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation have become difficult or impossible to accomplish without the assistance of an in-home caregiver.
Our trained certified senior caregivers possess the appropriate clinical background, have a deep empathy borne out of experience for what our clients are going through, and therefore intuitively understand how to manage the many emotions that surface in the caregiver-client relationship.
When we match wonderful caregivers to our client families, the resulting chemistry promotes physical and emotional health and wellbeing, assists quality of life, and creates peace of mind for all supportive care providers, especially spouses and adult children. All of the support your loved ones receive through our Florida home health agency are provided by certified and experienced home health aides, caregivers, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, therapists, certified nurse assistants, companions and homemakers, and medical social workers whom we employ throughout Broward County, Palm Beach County, and Dade County.
Both of our locations are recipients of the Joint Health Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™. Joint Commission complaint # 1 (800) 994 6601

Our caregivers are all certified in their fields. But they are hired for more than their skills and expertise. We only hire caregivers who also understand what it means to become a comforting and reliable part of your family. They are individuals who are patient and kind. They understand the special needs of the elderly. And they know how to bring sweetness and good cheer into the home.
For our clients, we select caregivers who:
- are patient and understanding, compassionate and kind, humble and empathic, intelligent and responsible, and sweet and cheerful.
- are proactive, taking the initiative in asking our clients periodically if anything is needed.
- actively engage our senior clients in order to provide physical, psychological, and social supports making them feel safe, content and happy.
Extra dementia training
Our caregivers receive extra training from the Southeast Florida Alzheimer’s Association so you can rest assured that your loved one is getting state-of-the-art care and support. Our staff understands that a person with memory loss needs most of all to feel safe and loved. Using stage-appropriate communication and activities, our caregivers know how to reduce confusion and respectfully guide clients through the sometimes distressing tasks of daily life (dressing, bathing, personal hygiene).
Another way in which our agency stands out from other home health care agencies in Florida is that we support our caregivers with a responsive live 24-hour support team, comprised of a Client Manager, a Care Relations Manager, a Director of Nursing, and a Telephony Manager. Our caregivers receive prompt administrative support and are treated with the respect and dignity that they deserve. Because we treat our caregivers well, they have less stress in their lives and are better able to focus on providing the loving care and compassionate support that our senior clients deserve!
A Family Member HomeCare assigns only certified Home Health Aides in Florida, Certified Nurse Assistants, RNs, LPNs, and Care Companions.
