Our Staff

We have a saying at A Family Member HomeCare: “You Can’t Train Nice.”

Almost any so-called caregiver can be trained to assist with activities of daily living. And we have hundreds of applicants who come to our offices annually who can perform these important tasks, but just being skilled with ADLs, activities of daily living, is not at all enough to give proper senior care to our Florida clients. Where we stand apart from other Florida home health agencies in that our caregivers must have a great personality too!

Our Caregivers

For our clients, we select caregivers who:

  • are patient and understanding, compassionate and kind, humble and empathic, intelligent and responsible, and sweet and cheerful.
  • are proactive, taking the initiative in asking our clients periodically if anything is needed.
  • actively engage our senior clients in order to provide physical, psychological, and social supports making them feel safe, content and happy.

Another way in which our agency stands out from other home health care agencies in Florida is that we support our caregivers with a responsive live 24-hour support team, comprised of a Client Manager, a Care Relations Manager, a Director of Nursing, and a Telephony Manager. Our caregivers receive prompt administrative support and are treated with the respect and dignity that they deserve. Because we treat our Caregivers well, they have less stress in their lives and are better able to focus on providing the loving care and compassionate support that our senior clients deserve!

A Family Member HomeCare assigns only certified Home Health Aides in Florida, Certified Nurse Assistants, RNs, LPNs, and Care Companions.
